The cake at the baby shower had first-day baby pictures
of me, Bev and Jolie.
|
No one would eat the part of the cake with
my face on it. My sister-in-laws who think they are funny added
the tiny signs.

Jolie's face lights up when she laughs.

Apparently that was the funniest thing that Jolie has ever
heard.
|
So far though, Jolie hasn't figured out how to make
laughing sounds. When she laughs her mouth just opens like
this and her eyes get really big. Very funny.

After holding Jolie at the shower 2 weeks ago, Nicole
kept saying "I go see Jolie? I hold her tight." So
Nicole came back again and got to hold her cousin a second time. |

This is my Aunt Mary holding Jolie at the baby
shower. You wouldn't know it by looking at her in this picture, but
very sadly and tragically, Aunt Mary died of cancer less than 4 months
later. |
